Based out of Toronto, Ontario, ACE Dance Theatre produces compelling contemporary dance performances. Founded by Liana Bellissimo and Tara Pillon, ACE Dance Theatre champions authentic expression and physical virtuosity.

 

ACE Dance Theatre captivates audiences by showcasing and nurturing both the athlete and the artist within the dancer. The company prides itself on its technique and versatility, rooted in the technical foundation of ballet and contemporary, while drawing influences from modern and jazz techniques. ACE Dance Theatre collaborates with both local and external artists, contributing to a unique and diverse company repertoire. We provide dancers, choreographers, teachers and designers the opportunity to flourish, create, share and inspire. 

 

​ACE Dance Theatre also provides professional performance and training opportunities for the next generation of young artists through the JUNIOR ACES company - a pre-professional performance company, and THE BALLET LAB - a workshop dedicated to developing and fortifying a dancer’s foundational technique & artistry.

ACE provides virtual fitness and dance training opportunities for every BODY (no experience necessary) through THE BODY LAB - an online training experience to strengthen the BODY and the MIND - with Mindful Movement and a functional training approach.
